Producer - Live Action

Job Brief

CLCKS is seeking a skilled Producer experienced in the world of branded content. You will report to both the Creative Director and Executive Producer and will be integral in shaping the unique vision of each assigned project. You will be responsible for managing teams and workflows as it pertains to executing the planned vision for the content. This hands-on role requires robust production experience and a thorough understanding of what is needed to make cutting-edge projects come to life. 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supporting the creative team and their idea, you will be representing, owning, championing, and finding creative solutions to bring the idea to life in accordance with the brief 
  • With the support of the Executive Producer, you will manage the production process from idea to execution, working in partnership with the client, creatives, AV people, and account team to manage the production and post-production process 
  • Help to manage the production budget, and the associated administration needs, in accordance with client and company expectations
  • Awareness of rules surrounding usage fees, talent, contracts, and boards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in the video production industry, preferably in both freelance and staff positions, serving as a Creative Producer or Associate Producer
  • Experience working with HoPs & EPs and communicating clear and consistent creative needs early on in a production environment
  • Experience preparing creative specs across a variety of formats, such as linear video, social media, and graphics
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively depending on the needs of a project and in a fast-paced environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of production workflows from creative through physical execution and post
  • Skilled negotiator that is able to navigate multiple expectations and needs, managing the budget while not compromising on the quality of the work
  • Proficient in management skills, presentation, logical thinking, and creative problem solving, while producing award-winning work
  • Willingness to take and deliver critical feedback on workflows and creative delivery, especially as it impacts the timeline or budget of a project

Producer - Animation

Assistant Editor

Job Brief

CLCKS is seeking a skilled Assistant Editor experienced in the world of branded content. In this role, you will work to create an uninterrupted and productive environment for the editor, making sure that all processes and workflows are as smooth as possible. This role requires skills in editing techniques and digital editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere. The work hours for this role vary and may be irregular depending on the project or editor. This position may also be remote and is ideally suited to people who love collaborating and interacting with teams, are organized, and have excellent computer skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support editorial teams with A/V asset management. This includes robust file management protocols, proxy creation, string out creation, and providing files/titles to appropriate team members in a timely manner
  • Manage creative editorial assignments
  • Assist with asset coordination
  • Reconform proxy edits to full-res master / final deliverables
  • Support media ingest and set-up in backend pipeline
  • Spot or QC check edits to ensure conformance yields accurate final assets

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 4+ years experience as an assistant editor in the advertorial/branded content industry
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, AME, Photoshop)
  • Strong knowledge of post-production workflows, asset dams, and A/V file management
  • Strong general knowledge of video & audio codecs and broadcast delivery specifications
  • Tech-savvy with strong communication and organizational skills online and in person
  • Knowledge of audio programs is a plus (Pro Tools, Adobe Audition)
  • Previous Post coordinator experience is a big bonus or an interest in learning more about coordination

Line Producer

Job Brief

CLCKS is seeking a skilled Line Producer experienced in the world of branded content. This is a hands-on role working closely with the Content Director in budgeting, scoping, and logistics. This role also requires being present on set for the production and delivering multiple first-class creative projects consecutively. This role requires solid experience in the world of advertorial and branded content, and an intimate understanding of what’s needed to make digital, video, and content projects come to life.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Partner with Executive Producer on executional and creative needs with depth and clarity to inform decisions across crew, resources, logistics, locations, etc
  • Collaborate with the Executive Producer on budgets with a “think outside the box” attitude to innovate in ways to meet the budget and timeline while maximizing the creative output
  • Support clear and clean production wraps by providing the production support team with all pre-production and creative documentation and paperwork in a timely manner
  • Along with internal production teams, you will also work with external production houses being the conduit between client, agency, and production   
  • You will be responsible for scoping and quoting large and complex projects as well as executing timing and production planning
  • Together with our creatives, you’ll also play a key role in bidding for new projects and the development of production proposals
  • You’ll assess and elevate the feasibility of concepts and production plans, always making sure that the work aligns with the client’s brief and budget

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 6+ years of high-level/senior agency experience working as a midweight/senior advertorial/branded content producer for leading clients and brands
  • 6+ years of budgeting experience, using software such as Movie Magic, Showbiz, or Hot Budget
  • 6+ years of client-facing experience, as throughout the production process you will be one of the key client contacts
  • Exceptional communication skills. We are looking for a true-born team player who can successfully work across teams, time zones, and technologies
  • You know how to produce a variety of different content types including live-action, animation and mixed-media and bring extensive branded content/advertorial expertise to the table
  • You play a supporting role in the bidding for new projects, contributing to the development of creative and production proposals
  • You have a switched-on, positive, proactive, and problem-solving mindset, happy to respond to curveballs, and challenges and explore multiple solutions

Post-Production Supervisor

Job Brief

CLCKS is seeking a skilled Post-Production Supervisor experienced in the world of branded content. As a post-supervisor you will oversee systems, workflows, and editorial staff for multiple projects, making sure internal and external deadlines are met and communicating updates with Producers and Directors. A big part of your job will be to brief team members on daily delivery objectives and to keep internal teams informed on the progress and potential pitfalls of the project. You relay feedback to the team in a timely manner, translating the intricacies of post-production into lucid language that everyone can understand.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be involved in quoting and scoping new projects to ensure projects are profitable, manageable, and executable
  • Lead budgeting and post-production planning for complex branded content/advertorial projects
  • Work as an independent project manager, evaluating cost and time estimates, process planning, creation and control of tasks 
  • Expand and maintain our network of talent, suppliers, and freelancers 
  • Provide close cooperation with creation, project management, and consulting to ensure the success of the project
  • Provide quality control of documentation, and archiving of production data
  • Lead and manage editors, and assistant editors and build post-production pipelines as it relates to server management

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in Offline, Online 2D, 3D, audio & media production
  • 6+ years of experience in dealing with complex post-production pipelines & workflows
  • Experience with data handling, asset management, and formats
  • Reliable contact for management, team, clients, and partners
  • Flexible, resilient and a high level of commitment
  • You have a solid ability to communicate transparently and effectively in all forms to your team from editors and graders to sound designers and animators
  • Strong knowledge of the entire post-production process from start to finish
